She was born January 14, 1967 in Los Angeles, CA. Mrs. Godinez moved to Greeley with her husband and youngest son in 2015 from Las Vegas, NV.
On April 25th, 1982 Melody married the love of her life Melchor Godinez. They had three children together two sons, and one daughter.
Mrs. Godinez loved cooking and home making for her beautiful family. She enjoyed crafting ranging from counted cross stitch blankets, to hooded towels for babies. Melody loved her family, including her dogs Madison and Shylo. Her pride and joy was her grandson Hendrix, along with family road trips she went on often with her children and her husband. She was an incredibly warm person that always made people feel so welcomed and loved. Her home was always open and a safe place for anyone.
Melody leaves behind her husband Melchor Godinez Sr., her eldest son Melchor Godinez Jr., her daughter Melyssa Moorehead, her youngest son Miguel Godinez, one grandson Hendrix, two brothers Randy and Ronald Kanzler, as well as her mother Marjorie Kanzler.
Services will be held at Allnutt Funeral Service 702 13th St, Greeley, CO 80631 on Tuesday, October 2nd. Visitation will begin at 10:00 A.M. followed by the service at 11:00 A.M.
