Richard L. Gilsinger Sr.

GILSINGER, Richard L. Sr. age 72 of Fairborn, passed away Friday, October 5, 2018 at Kettering Medical Center. Richard retired from the WPAFB Civil Engineering Group as a sheet metal mechanic. He was preceded in death by his parents, Francis Leo and Gertie Viola Gilsinger; and was the last of his siblings. Richard is survived by his wife, Nancy George Gilsinger; daughter, Rhonda and husband George Gaynor; son, Richard “Ricky” Gilsinger Jr.; step-sons, Vincent L. Knisley and Michael L. Palmer; granddaughters, Jessica Gaynor and Erica Gaynor; and great-grandsons, Jason and Jaxson. He loved animals, especially dogs. Richard was a very giving, non-judgmental person, a strong believer and a true Christian. He enjoyed working outdoors and on anything mechanical. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, October 13, 2018 at Burcham Tobias Funeral Home, 119 E. Main St. Fairborn with Pastor Glen Henderson officiating.
