Lutitia Love Bills, (Tish) 79, was finally coerced by her sweetheart, to leave her family here and join him in the next life on Thurs. Oct 25, 2018. Tish had a mind of her own and would act only when she made her mind up to do so. She was a passionate, loving and devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, Memaw and friend.
Born April 7, 1939 in Mendenhall, MS, she was the product of small-town family roots, filled with love and a carefree young life. She married our dad, a young sailor from Idaho, and eventually settled in Pensacola to raise a family.
Tish took pride in being a homemaker, caring for her husband, children and then her grandchildren. She laughed a lot with her friends and at dad’s many jokes. She loved working outside in the yard and especially around the pool.
Tish loved to travel. She would visit her Mississippi hometown family every 3 months, always taking care of various family members and visiting beloved aunts, uncles and cousins. She and dad traveled frequently with friends and by themselves, from the Carolina’s and Tennessee hills, to Dads family in Idaho and many sites in between.
Tish is preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Stanley T. Bills; her parents Fordie and Dollie Welch; her precious grandson, Evan Carmon Grace, 2 sisters and 1 brother.
She is survived by her daughter, Angela Grace Mortimer (Danny); son, S. Todd Bills (Mandy); four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Family and friends are invited to join in honoring Tish at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 5673 N 9th Ave. Pensacola Fl. 32504. Visitation is from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM Friday, November 2, 2018 with the funeral services immediately following. Burial will follow at Bayview Memorial Park in Pensacola.
