He was born June 29, 1935 in Canton, Ohio to the late William and Irma (Kulscar) Boyer. Dick was a graduate of Canton McKinley High School, was an accomplished mason contractor and Little League baseball coach. He was a member of the Meadowlake Golf and Swim Club.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia in 2012. He is survived by his children, Susan (David) Bell of Columbus, Ohio, Richard M. (Amy) Boyer of Canton, and Sandra (Jerry) Pratt of Schoolcraft, MI; grandchildren, Allison, Daniel, Andrew, and Grayson; great-grandchildren, Claire and Evie; brother, Robert E. (Martha) Boyer; and several nieces and nephews.
A private graveside service is planned followed by entombment in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Heritage Villas.
