Not a day goes by that I don't think of you!! Love you!! 

Happy Birthday Mom! You are missed in many ways and by many people. In the evening after dinner and dishes are done and I sit down with my cup of coffee and look out the front window the first thing that comes to my mind is hearing you say "If your Father would of been able to share this view he would of moved here years ago". But in my heart I believe you are both enjoying that view and many more together. I miss our Sunday drives but I want to Thank You for sharing the last 8 years of your life on this earth with all of us here in Oregon.  

My wife Shar and I attended the funeral service for Dorothy on Nov 10.  It was a fitting and inspiring service.  Dorothy was my cousin.  Her dad "Mickey" was my uncle.  My dad was Doug McCrea.  I remember that Dorothy was always a very busy wife and mother and I remember her smile.  May God give her peace and comfort all the Driscoll family in there grief.   

My thoughts and prayers are with you all I took care of Mr Driscoll on dialysis and I just loved Dorothy and Eleanor Dorothy was a great lady bless all your hearts

Mom,
I’ll never forget all the time you took us kids picking product. And lost count of all times you would tell us to stop eating more then what went in the basket. Then we got home you gave us our jobs to help as you canned the produce. 
When we were in school the teachers could always count on you to give a helping hand  even when you had your hands full with taking care of dad and all us kids.   
 All the camping trips we went in as kids and learning so much from the places we went. And the trouble we would get into just to see what we could get away with. And you always found out. 
The smells  of your holiday cooking could never be out done. Especially your nut roll and Christmas cookies. 
The look on grandpa’s  face when you made him homemade  peach ice cream for his birthday.  And all the times he would sneak into what your making and the look on dad’s face when you would catch him. 
You have helped create so many memories and have taught us so much. 
As you and dad are holding hands in heaven and you giving him his 3 kisses. You will be greatly missed.

Grandma,
Words can not express all the emotions that have ran through me this past week. The many wonderful memories you left us with, to share with our children and grandchildren. Being in Hammond making popcorn balls at Halloween, the apples and pinecones that hung from your Christmas tree, and trips to the camprground. Going to Florida riding out the hurricane, teaching Daniel to swim, and Fort Pickens. Then you came to Wheatfield where where we blessed to have you so close for so long. Especially all our talks when I spent many nights with you at the hospital before grandpa passed. You were the strongest woman who ever put two feet on the ground. I am glad you got to go spend your remaining years in Oregon with family out there and I thank them for the care they gave you and being there with you in your final hours. I know you greeted grandpa in heaven with three kisses as you did every night before bed. Thank you for 36 years of love, lessons, and memories. God truly blessed me with the best Grandma I could have ever asked for. I will think of you daily until I see you again.  

Grandma , there are so many memories that I have cherished.  You will be missed greatly.  As I drove home this last weekend I walked through the front door. I peared over to your chair,  but it laid empty. It was unfamiliar to not give you a kiss hello. After being there an hour my mind shifted to asking you if you needed to go to the bathroom, but the task laid incomplete as you were missing to your final resting place.  But, later that day as I ate Ice Cream I smiled because I realized you were not gone, for you still remained in my heart. I closed my eyes and I spoke to you and told you to give Grandpa a kiss. A bushel, and a peck and a hug around the neck. Until we meet again.

Dorothy Ann Driscoll age 88, peacefully passed away at home on Saturday, October 27, 2018. 
She is survived by her children, Mick (Mary) Driscoll of Lafayette, IN, Kathy (Leroy) Thompson of Sumpter, OR, Margo (Larry) Schlesser of Cove, OR, Dan (Tammy) Driscoll of Wheatfield, IN, Tina Denney of Chicago, IL, Dee (Tom) Tolbert of Hope Mills, NC, Eleanor Driscoll of Cove, OR, Tim Driscoll of Evansville, IN and Mary (Steve) Novath of North Judson, IN; 22 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and dear friends. 
Preceded in death by husband, Timothy D. Driscoll; brother, Charles McCrea; grandmother, Christina Dorrow and great grandson, Conner Polfer. 
Dorothy was born February 18, 1930 in Chicago, IL to the late Francis and Eleanor McCrea. On November 1, 1952 she married the love of her life, Timothy D. Driscoll and together they raised nine children.
