Vera Mae Post Kercher

Post Kercher, Vera Mae, age 90, passed away on Tuesday, October 30, 2018. Vera was a 1947 graduate of Stivers High School. She was a lifelong United Methodist member and worshiped at St. Andrew United Methodist Church in the later part of her life. Vera worked for over 20 years at Miami Valley Hospital. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Robert E. Post and Ralph Kercher. She was also preceded by her parents, Dana and Lenore Jones; a son, Stephen Post; and by her brother, Dr. Donald Jones. She is survived by three children, Bob (Debbie) Post, Susan (Gary) Karns, and Rick (Christine) Post; she is also survived by six grandchildren, six great grandchildren and three step sons and their families. Visitation will be Friday, November 2nd from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Tobias Funeral Home, 5471 Far Hills Ave. Funeral services will immediately follow visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be in Dayton Memorial Park.
