Carol Ann Vavrek

Carol Ann Vavrek, 77, passed away November 4, 2018 in Orange Park, FL. She was born April 30, 1941 in Oakland, CA. She is preceded in death by her father, Joseph John Robilotti, mother, Mary Matilda Silva and husband, Frank Robert Vavrek. Carol is survived by her daughter, Debra Imus Gallegos (Scott), son, Steven W. DuMond and daughter, Janette M. Johns. Grandchildren, Taylor and Tanner Strickland, Savannah and Afton Imus, Kayla and Erika Kinner and Madison and Sydney Vavrek and 5 great grandchildren.

Carol worked as a dental assistant and retired from Myers Pediatric Dentistry. After retiring, she had a passion for volunteering at Haven Hospice and did so for many years. Carol loved camping, bunko, Theater productions and riding a motorcycle or in a convertible with the wind blowing her hair. She didn’t know a stranger and always loved cooking for a crowd. Carol was a proud and wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Those who knew her loved her and she will be missed by all.
