Marvin O. McDavitt, age 55, of Independence, passed away November 18, 2018. Celebration of Life Services, Saturday, Nov. 24, 2018, 11am at Newcomer's Noland Road Chapel.

He was born April 6, 1963, in Kansas City, MO. to Othello and Linda(Wilson) McDavitt. He was raised and educated in Independence.

After school, he worked for Godfathers Pizza. Marvin then starting working with a local cabinet manufacturing company. After 10 years, he retired due to a disability in 2005.

Preceded in death by his mother Linda.

Marvin is survived by: Father; Othello(Mac) McDavitt, Sister; Connie McDavitt, Brother: Jeff McDavitt. Nieces: Allyssa, Gina, Anna. Great Nephews; Liam, Alex, Granger. Great Nieces; Lilly, Addison.

He was an organ donor, consisting of heart valves, skin, corneas and bones.
