Mr. George Willis McCay

George Willis McCay was born April 17, 1928 in Healdton, OK, his parents were George and Minnie McCay. He went to be with his Lord November 24, 2018 in Shreveport.

Mr. McCay served 24 years in the USAF. He was a Flight Engineer on B29s and KC97s. Other than his family his greatest loves were music and animals.

Mr. McCay is preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis; parents; and an infant daughter, Mary Elizabeth. He is survived by his daughters, Roberta Hicks and husband Scott, Charlotte McCay, Betty Kelly and husband Todd, and Robin Widmer and husband Freddie; granddaughters, Sammantha Abbott and husband Alan, Amanda Hicks, Meredith Frowick and husband Cameron, Madeline Kelly, and Madison Widmer; and many friends.

A service celebrating the life of George Willis McCay will be held Wednesday, November 28, 11:00 AM at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home. Interment will follow in NW LA Veterans Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 10 AM until service time.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society or the Wounded Warrior Project.
