Mae Inez Cowgill Poteete

Mae Inez Cowgill Poteete of Olive Branch, MS went to be with her Lord on November, 25, 2018 at the age of 98. She was born in Myrtle, MS. Mrs. Mae was preceded in death by her late husbands, Walter E. Cowgill and Jessie D. Poteete. She was an active member of First Baptist Church in Olive Branch and an active 50 year member of Order of Eastern Star, Olive Branch, MS. She leaves a daughter, Sandra Elton (Dennis) of Southaven, MS and a son, Randy Cowgill (Teresa) of Germantown, TN; a stepdaughter, Debbie Farrow; a step son, Ricky Poteete; three grandchildren, Dawn Mabe of Olive Branch, MS, Lindsey Potts-Szoke (Eddie) of Whidbey Island, WA; Jason Cowgill (Kerri) of Jonesboro, AR, and four great grandchildren, Colin, Ben, Bella, Matthew and her precious dog, Snuggles. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be sent to: Samaritan’s Purse or St. Jude. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Brantley Funeral Home, 6875 Cockrum St. Olive Branch, MS 38654. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 29, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Brantley Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Memorial Park in Memphis, TN.
