Nancy LaForge Tauriello, age 70, of Columbus, Georgia passed away at the Columbus Hospice of Georgia on November 30, 2018. Nancy was born August 24, 1948 in Queens, New York. Nancy moved to Columbus, Georgia in 1972.
She retired from Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Georgia after over 30 years of service as an IT Business Analyst. Her greatest passion was gardening and loved sharing the flowers with her friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Vail and Laviana Slocum LaForge. Nancy is survived by her sister, Carol (Joe) Acquista, brother, Chuck (Dianne) LaForge, sons, Donovan and Rocco Tauriello and two granddaughters.
A visitation will be held on Thursday December 6, 2018 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Road, Columbus, Georgia. The Funeral Service will be officiated by the Reverend Lance Cole and will be held at Striffler-Hamby on Friday December 7 at 3:00 PM. The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff of Columbus Hospice of Georgia for their loving care.
