Mrs. Julie Corns Lawson of Fieldale, Virginia, passed away on December 3, 2018 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, Winston-Salem, N.C. She was born in Patrick County, Virginia to the late Willie Corns and the late Vera Nickelston Corns.
Mrs. Lawson is survived by her former husband, Fred Lawson of Ridgeway, Va., one daughter, Barbara Ellis Belton and one brother, Lewis Corns both of Martinsville, Va.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 12:00 PM Friday, December 7, 2018 from Collins Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Raymond Moorefield officiating with interment to follow in Roselawn Burial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, December 6, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
