Monday, December 31, 2018, Melesio Mendoza Madrigal passed away in Madera, California at the age of 65. Melesio was born in Cotija de La Paz, Michoacan, Mexico to Amalia and Jesus Madrigal. He was one of twelve children and was preceded in death by his mother and father, his sisters Lupe, Maria, and Margarita, and his brother Maximiliano.
Melesio was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and uncle to numerous nieces and nephews. He is survived by his siblings; Graciela, Jesus, Jose, Maria, Fidel, Porfirio and Octavio, his two children; Melissa and Brian Madrigal; his three grandchildren; Mercedes, Alexis, and Erick, and finally, many of his nieces and nephews.
Melesio was a very hardworking man who had jobs in both agriculture and construction. After his retirement, he enjoyed tending to his garden and hosting family gatherings at his house every weekend. Melesio was the life of the party and everyone who knew him, loved to be in his presence.
Melesio Madrigal will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
