Javier “Harvey” Bernardo Alderete, 47, unexpectedly passed away on Saturday, January 26, 2019. He was born in El Paso, TX on April 4, 1971. He leaves behind his parents Jesus and Celia Alderete. Siblings, Michael Alderete (Shondalyn) and Irene De La Cruz (Fred). Also left to mourn his passing, the love of his life, Christine Ruvalcaba, as well as his nieces and nephews, Manny and Brianna Hernandez, Michael, Marcus, and April Alderete and great-nephew Rodrigo Hernandez. Harvey was a kid at heart and left a loving impact on everyone he has met. He will be fondly remembered for his love for Star Wars, LA Dodgers, and the Dallas Cowboys. A memorial service will be held at: Hillcrest Funeral Home (5054 Doniphan Dr. El Paso, TX 79932) on Thursday, January 31, 2019. Viewing hours are from 4pm-8pm (with the Rosary at 6 pm).
