Louis Lewllyn Shann III

He was born in Dover, NJ on June 6, 1949, son of the late Louis L. Shann, II and the late Reba J. Shann. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Nicole Woody and sister, Darlene Alvarez.

Survivors include a son, Louis L. Shann, IV; 2 sisters, Louella Post and husband Richard and Emily Shann; 3 brothers, Bobby Shann and wife Anna, Delmer Shann and wife Sherry, David Shann; grandchildren, John Cunningham and fiancé Logan Campbell, Charlie Cunningham and wife Courtney, Laura Woody, and Dixie Woody; great grandchildren, Isabella Cunningham, Dixie Campbell, and Bailey Nicole Cunningham.

A celebration of life for Louis will be held at 4:00 pm on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at Whitten Monelison Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be directed to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Drive, Memphis, TN 38105.
