John Edward Ofeldt, 71, of Manchester passed away Monday January 28, 2019 in Brick. Born in Nyack, NY John spent most of his life in Little Egg Harbor before moving to Manchester 12 years ago.

Born to the late Robert and Mary Ofeldt, John is survived by his loving children; Sean Ofeldt and his wife Joane of Virginia Beach, VA., Kelly Moran and her husband Bob of Smithville, NJ, Ryan Ofeldt and his wife Erica of Little Egg Harbor, his six devoted grandchildren; Beckett, Graham, Everly, Ryder, Shayla and Ryan. Also surviving are his siblings, Bob Ofeldt and his wife Marie, Eileen Mathis and her husband Bill, Tom Ofeldt, the mother of his children Kathy Straub and his longtime partner Fernando Batista of Manchester.

A Memorial Service will be held in celebration of John’s life on Saturday February 2, 2019 from 2-4 pm. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in John’s name to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105
