Nicola Sclafani

Nicola Sclafani, age 78 passed away peacefully on Friday February 1, 2019, at home in San Bernardino, Ca was born on January 23, 1941, in Michigan to Anthony and Josephine Sclafani. He was one of 12 children.

He married Patty Sclafani on March 23, 1987 in Las Vegas, Nv. Before retirement he worked as a Tile Setter and loved bowling, working on old cars, working outside and loved spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife Patty,

5 children, Josephine Vanderdoes of Carson City, Nevada, Tina Lonchar of Bloomington, Ca., Steve Sclafani of Minden, Nv., Karen Sclafani of Carson City, Nv., and Tony Sclafani of Reno, Nv., 3 step children, Steve Patterson of Corona Ca., Debbie Williams of Fontana, Ca., and Tammy Phipps, of Highland, Ca., 2 sisters, Florence Zerilli of Menefee, Ca., and Mamie Musolino of Fontana Ca., 4 brothers, Frank Sclafani and Fred Sclafani of Henderson, Nv., and Anthony and Pete Sclafani of Fontana, Ca.. 8 grandchildren – Kory Jordan, Kristopher Jordan, Charlee Lonchar, of Fontana, Ca., Niki Mercer, Hailey Sclafani, and Allie Sclafani of Reno, Nv., Jessie Vanderdoes of Dayton, Nv., and Anthony Sclafani of Carson City, Nv., 9 great grandchildren, Karissa Jordan, Sophia Jordan, Adrianne Rodriguez, Mathew Jordan, and Tristen Graham, of Fontana, Ca., Kali Mercer, Penny Mercer, and Scarlet Mercer of Reno Nv., and Gunner Vanderdoes of Dayton, Nv., many nieces and nephews.

Family, friends, and others whose lives Nick touched are invited to the Green Acres Funeral Home, at 11715 Cedar Avenue, Bloomington, Ca. Viewing will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, February 20th and Funeral services will be February 21st at 10:00 a.m.
