Bonnie passed away peacefully in the company of her family. She was born In Salt Lake City to George Dalton and Loa Workman as the 7th of 8 children. She was preceded in death by her husband David Gunter, her parents, her brothers Weldon (Ab) and Emerald (Bill), and sisters Marie, Carol, Helen, LaRue, and Judy, and her first love, Rex Casey. She grew up in Chesterfield, which she called “TeePee Town” and fondly remembers her father, who died when she was only 11, referring to her as his “Muggins.” She loved to dance to the oldies and crochet. Bonnie was a hard worker, starting as a teenager at Saltaire. She was employed by the State of Utah and worked her way up to eventually retire as a supervisor at the Division of Workforce Services after 26 years. She leaves behind two daughters, Shawna Johnson and Sonja Jorgensen, second husband Boyd Mower, her first husband and most recent boyfriend, Albert Brems, many grandchildren, greatgrandchildren, as well as nieces, nephews, and friends who she loved like her own. Services will be held Wednesday February 13, 2019 at 11:00a.m. at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, 3401 S. Highland Drive, Salt Lake City, Utah. Family and Friends visitation will be from 10:00 AM – to 10:45 the morning of the service. Following the service she will be entombed in the Midvale City Cemetery.

The Family would like to extend thanks to the caretakers at Hunter Hollow in West Valley City for the loving care they provided to Bonnie during her stay, as well as the members of Rocky Mountain Hospice for the care they provided during her final days. Additional thanks to the staff of Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park and Mortuary for Bonnie’s final preparations.
