Margaret J. St. Cyr

Peggy was born in Brockton and was the daughter of the late Edward and Charlotte (McLellan) O’Connor. She lived in Norwood and Stoughton. She graduated from Stoughton High School. Then she moved back to Brockton after starting her own family. She was a fiesty lady that would give it to you straight. In her many years of life Peg enjoyed watching boxing on TV, making many pounds of homemade French fries for her grandchildren, spending time with her family and friends, Sunday dinners were her thing!! In her later years she moved to Taunton Ma. She was currently residing at Life Care Center of Raynham.

She is survived by two sons, George M. St. Cyr of Taunton and Wayne F. St. Cyr of Brockton; one daughter Mary C. Gallant and her husband Gerald of East Bridgewater; one brother Edward O’Connor, seven grandchildren, Michelle St. Cyr, Lisa St. Cyr, Rachel Martins and her husband Brandon, Michael St. Cyr, Vera St. Cyr, Monique Pagan and her husband Tito and Michael Gallant and his wife Lauren; and eight great-grandchildren, Eric Pedro, Adam Leonard, Brian Leonard, Caden Sansoucy, Benjamin Martins, Peyton Gallant, Isabella Gallant and Isaiah Gallant. She was the sister of the late Eugene O’Connor.

Her Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, February 21, 2019 at 11:00 AM in the Waring-Sullivan Home at Rose E. Sullivan, 866 County Street, Somerset with visitation prior to the service from 10:00 – 11:00 AM. Contributions in her honor may be made to Life Care Center, 546 South Street East, Raynham, MA 02767.
