Maurine Woods

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Frank and Lula Gardner and by her paternal Grandmother Elizabeth Shelton whom she is named after.

And also her Daddy, Henry Alfred Shelton and her sisters Patricia Louise Shelton Wilson and Linda Kay Shelton Mann and her loving husband Richard Lee Woods.

Surviving her is her sons Matthew and Tim Huckaby, her mother Frances Shelton Payne and her remaining sibling Janice Lee Shelton Wilder as well as many nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews.

Maurine accepted Christ at a young age and loved her Lord. She sang in the choir, and was involved with GA’s in church when she was a young girl. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church and later her family became members at Country Meadows Baptist. She also worked at the Sears Roebuck store from high school until she retired.
