Jamie Jo Beal (Wood), age 68, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Sunday, February 24, 2019. Jamie was born on December 17, 1950 in Indianapolis. Jamie graduated from Franklin Central High School. After high school, she attended Anderson University. She married Paul Elliott Beal on July 10, 1971.
Jamie enjoyed knitting and camping with her husband at Old Mill Run Campground in Thorntown, Indiana. She also loved watching her grandson, Nolan, play lacrosse. She was a huge fan of the Indianapolis Colts, Pacers and I.U. Basketball. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Jamie is survived by her children, Jennifer A. Wilson and Joshua E. (Karin) Beal; brother-in-law, Michael (Debbie) Beal; grandson, Nolan Wilson; nephews, Mike (Mary) Hawk and Mark (Nina) Hawk; and 3 great nephews. Jamie was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Elliott Beal; parents, Robert and Anna Hagerty; and sister, Kitty Hawk.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 28, 2019 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Little & Sons Funeral Home, 4901 E. Stop 11 Road, Indianapolis, Indiana 46237. A funeral service will immediately follow at 1:00 PM. Burial will take place at Acton Cemetery, 7900 Acton Road, Indianapolis, Indiana 46259.
