My grandpa milo,

I don’t have as many memories with you as I wish I did, but the ones I do have I will remember and cherish forever. You were unapologetically yourself in every way and I will miss the constant laughs and lightheartedness I always felt when I was around you. Visiting you was always filled with good times, good music, and good company. Your memory will live on through me, my cousins, my aunts and my uncles. We will miss you everyday, but we will always think of you with love and full hearts.

Rest easy grandpa, I love you.

My dear high school buddy 👬.   Long ago we lived and saw each other daily - you in your very "cool" 🚘 Corvette and me in my much less cool 🚙 VW Bug.    You were good in bio and chem.  Me, in writing and debate. Then, we  lived just across the street from each other - our house on the corner of Clinton and 15th Ave.  We played a lot of great music.  Me only the drums 🥁, and you - well ..... every 🎼🥁🎷🎸🎻🎼 instrument👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻, and talked about our futures, our lives, our friends, our hopes.  I lost contact with you over the years but hoped you had a bountiful life and a joy in family.  I'm happy to see that you have had that in your life.   As in my heart, may your life and kindnesses shown first to your classmates - then later to your whole sweet family and friends - each day become remembered blessings.   These blessings continue until, through Belief in our Messiah's sacrifice for each of us,  we are promised to see each other again - forever.
May God tenderly touch your family and all your friends lives afresh each morning with His Love.

Your wings were ready, but my heart was not.

Grandpa, growing up I remember going to see you and you would always make me eat my food first, get what I wanted, and you were the best grandpa I could ever ask for.  You gave me a blessing that I never had before and that was to dance, sing, and run as fast as I could.  You made me believe that I could be anybody that I wanted to be.  The truth is, everyday I would think about you and when I saw you in pain, it made it hard to see you this way.  As much as you were in pain you still danced your heart out.  I love you grandpa, I miss you, and I will always have your blessing with me.  I know your always with me.

Hey dad , wow  I've been dreding  this day .  to write on this this page ... well so  here goes ...... I am speechless    I could've never imagine you of all people  leaving us ....  mom misses u so much   she still sleeps in the  same spot as wen u were here. it's hard to think that I am not gonna  sit and eat dinner next to u anymore  listen to ur advice  and u telling me  to becarful  and watch out for the other person  on my way home....   and the way u ypist to wait for me  to get there ....   u have been there for me for 31 years  and  and I am glad  and gteatful to have known u and u  are my dad ur were a cool guy...  strong minded   tough and too all ur kids loving  and all about us ...  it's not gonna be the same but u taught me to be strong  speak from the Hart   so that's  what I am doing ...  please watch over us all  and  I'll take care of mom and joe  for u ... Just like u asked  .  .   We had sum good times sum great laughs ....   Thank you for always protecting me..  I  love u  ur always be in my Hart   I'll never let go of that ... promise . .  Love u dad ....

Thank you dad for being my strength growing up.  You were bold with your words, unfiltered, but spoke the truth.  Many times too much for those to take, I respected that.  Growing up, you provided one of the most important gifts a man can give to his son, LOVE.  I knew that no matter where I was or what I was going through your Love and direction overpowered everything in the end.  You taught me that life was rough and we all went through difficult times.  You explained to me that when you are at the bottom, with nobody around you, down and out, I was your boy and we did one thing; keep your back straight, chin up, chest out, and you keep going.  That single handedly has aided my decision making during some rough moments in life.  I love you for that.  Thank you for showing me how to empower your children, give them freedom to learn, support their decisions, encourage the best from them, but most importantly how to LOVE.  
I know you arent suffering anymore.  We are passing through this life and I cant wait to be there with you and our family.  I know you are with us.  I love you and miss you, but i know you are happy from above.  You are now with our Lord Jesus Christ.  I love you Dad.  See you soon!  

Dear Dad,
Everywhere I look this week I see signs of you letting me know you are okay. In my heart, I know you are at peace. When I first heard the news of what was to come, all I wished for was for you to know you were loved and you were not alone. In these last months, it was a gift and an honor to walk this journey with you. I take comfort in knowing what a beautiful and amazing homecoming it must have been. I imagine that was some party up there in Heaven!
February 22nd I lost my Dad but I gained an Angel who I know will watch over me the rest of my life. I will miss you, that smile, that twinkle in your eye.
