Terri is now reunited with her grandmother, Kathleen Hurley Barnsley, her father and mother, William and Louis Barnsley, her sister Pauline Barnsley, as well as her late husband, James McGee. She is survived by her brother Bernard Barnsley, son and daughter-in-law Dwayne McGee and Lu Ann Gourley McGee, her granddaughters Samantha McGee and Kaytlynn Gourley, as well as her “best friend” of 22 + years Werner Piezonka.
Terri was a long-time member of the Daughters of the British Empire (DBE), with approximately 50 years of service, and up until the time of her passing, was the sole remaining Lifetime Member; an honorary status that had only been given to 2 others prior. Beyond fundraising for this charitable organization, she belonged to the Delta Masters sorority. Terri also had a passion for animals, cruising, and above all, dancing. She had seen much of the world many times over, and continued to cruise and dance right up to the end.
Terri had an infectious love of life and celebrated each and every day. She had a unique way of elevating seemingly ordinary moments, into something special and memorable. It would be impossible to count the number of people whose lives she has impacted, but suffice to say that her loss will be felt and her memory cherished by many. She will be missed.
