Evelyn H. Steckman, 85, passed away on March 8, 2019. She is survived by her daughters; Susan Berman and her husband, Cary, and Jill Savin and husband, Michael, her grandchildren; Brittany Macy and husband, Jacob, Samantha Berman, Ryan Savin and Taylor Savin, her brother, Hayward “Woody” Auerbach and wife, Harriett, her beloved nephews and niece; Michael and Lisa Auerbach, Bruce and Mona Auerbach and Susan Auerbach, and her many great-nieces and great-nephews . She is predeceased by her husband of 24 years, William.
A funeral Service will be held for Evelyn at noon on Sunday, March 10, in the Chapel of Beth El Perrineville Jewish Cemetery, 755 Perrineville Road, Millstone, NJ 08535, followed by a burial on the cemetery grounds. The family will be sitting Shiva on Sunday, March 10 following the burial until 9pm, and on Monday, March 11 and Tuesday March 12, from 2-4pm and 7-9p.
