Rita was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Laurie, MO for 20 years. She enjoyed golfing, bowling, boating and the outdoors.
She is preceded by her parents, brother Mick Leuck, sister Carolyn Richards, her loving husband Howard of 47 years and Daniel Smelser.
She is survived by daughters, Sherry Smelser, Terry Kelly, Cynthia LeVee and Barbara Millward; grandchildren; great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews; her brother, Larry Leuck and wife Geri.
The family suggest memorial donations be made to Heart of America Alzheimer’s Association, 3846 W. 75th St, Prairie Village, KS 66208.
