Jillian was a graduate of Hedgesville High School and an all-out athlete for the school. She was a team player in several sports to include volleyball, softball (fast pitcher) and the swim team. She was also a musician in the Jazz band and a dancer with Tari Jo’s Dance studio. She attended Shepherd University for several years. Her greatest joy was being a mother to Mya.
She is survived by her parents, daughter, Mya Lane McMellen , her brother, Anthony Jr. ; aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by grandparents; Samuel and Catherine McMellen, Garland and Juanita Elliott.
A Memorial service will be held on Saturday March 23, 2019 at Harmony United Methodist Church in Marlowe, WV at 1pm. with Terri Coffiell officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Harmony United Methodist Church, Food Bank.
