Romana S. Moore, born on October 25, 1945 went to be with our Lord on April 3, 2019 at the age of 73. Romana had 4 brothers, 5 sisters, 1 step sister and 1 step brother. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert Moore; parents, Emilio and Angela Salinas; children, Angie De La Garza, Sarah Costilla and Jesse De La Garza. Romana is survived by her loving children, Rubencio De La Garza, Emilio De La Garza, Patsy Moore, Michael Moore, Mark Moore and Michelle Moore. Also by her adoring grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. Romana was a strong, independent women who was known for always going above and beyond to help anyone that she could help. She never said no and she would always find a way to help her loving family. She was known for being a great care provider to all her family and remarkable parishioner of the church community. She loved having family gatherings with all her grandchildren who she cared for and was a second mother to them. She was also known for having a green thumb, planting all her vegetables and roses. Romana will be dearly missed by all her close family and friends. Visitation will be held Thursday, April 11, 2019 at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. San Antonio, Texas 78237 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with her Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Procession will depart the Funeral Home, Friday, April 12, 2019 at 12:30 p.m. for her Funeral Mass at 1:30 p.m. at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in La Coste, TX. Interment will follow in San Jose Burial Park.
