CONNELLY SPRINGS – Mozelle S. Toney, 79 of Connelly Springs walked into Heaven on April 11, 2019.
Born on December 6, 1939 in Burke County to the late Frank and Candies Killian Shuford. Mozelle was a loving wife, mother, mawmaw, great-mawmaw, mother-in-law, sister, and friend to all who knew her. She was a devoted member dedicated to Mt. Hebron Baptist Church. Mozelle lived and walked daily in her faith in Christ.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Randy Toney; brothers, Ray Shuford, Gaither Shuford.
Survivors include her loving husband of 62 years, Larry L. Toney, children, Carroll Toney and wife Vickie, Brenda Turner and husband Carroll; 7 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren; sister, Mary Ellen Starnes; brother, Roger Shuford and wife Lucy; and numerous other family members.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Sunday, April 14, 2019 at 4 PM at Mt. Hebron Baptist Church with Pastor Eric James officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2-4 PM at the church.
