Betty and Ray were my next door neighbors for 17 years.  Both are and will be truly missed. Many conversations taking place over the fence in the backyard. A chance to take a break from the gardening or lawn work. Betty was a dear soul. She always had a special goodie bag for my son Zachary on Halloween. Would always watch out for him as he walked to school or the bus stop. It warmed my heart to see how the family would all gather together for her birthday /mother's day every year. How you all rallied and took great care of Betty after Rays death. Our sympathies to her family and friends for the loss of a wonderful woman.

"Aunt" Betty  and her late husband "Uncle" Ray meant so much to our family! They were more than just friends,  they were family to us and we loved them dearly! We looked forward to spending time with them up at the cabin, weddings, baptisms, graduations, and on Christmas Eve for as long as I can remember. They never missed a "life event" for our family whether it be a special event, time of worry or support during a loss, we could always count on them. Aunt Betty and my mom were the dearest of friends for over 55 years, she will truly be missed. We have great memories and we will cherish them forever. 

Dear Michele and Family,
I am so terribly sorry for the loss of your mother. I hope you can find some comfort in the beautiful memories you have of her and in each other.

I was so blessed to call Betty my “Mother in law”.  Although really  she was more like my friend.  She  was always there when I needed her and for the last year we spoke on the phone every day.  She was the mother to my best friend who we both loved and lost last year.  The only thing that makes losing her easier is knowing that they are together again.  She will be missed by all because of the gentle, kind person she was.  Love you Betty.
