Nancy Ann Evans

Nancy Ann Evans, 83, of Stanford, IL passed away on April 10, 2019 at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center in Bloomington. She was born on June 17, 1935 in Franklin County, IL to Winter Robin and Ruth Josephine Ackerson Wilson. She married Donald Duane Evans on October 9, 1953 in Gibson City and he preceded her in death on September 26, 1999.

Survivors include four sons; Donald Evans Jr. of Kenosha, WI, Sam Evans of Benton, IL, Jon (Holly) Evans of Omaha, NE, and Larry (Crystal) Evans of Benton, IL; one daughter Kathleen (Perry) Dyer of Maywood, IL. Five grandchildren; Danya LaCount of LeRoy, Justin Evans of Chenoa, Jyles (Rebecca) Evans of Fort Hood, TX, Sarah Steinhoff (David) of Normal and Joe Evans (Shari) of Lake Murray Shores, SC and three great grandchildren. She is also survived by one brother Bill Wilson and one sister C. DeNeal.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, one daughter Ruth "Annie" Payton, one sister and one brother.

Nancy worked as the village clerk for Allen Township and was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution in Bloomington.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.

East Lawn Funeral Home in Bloomington is in charge of arrangements.
