Services for Maria Mercedes De Anda, 88, of Temple will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 14, 2019, at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Temple with a Jehovah Witness Minister officiating.

Ms. De Anda died Friday, May 3, 2019 in Temple.

She was born Feb. 16, 1931, in San Benito. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Temple.

She was preceded in death by her son, Jesse Ruiz; and daughter, Luisa Aguilar.

Survivors include her daughter, Abigail Olivares of Temple; son-in-law, David Aguilar of Lake Jackson; grandchildren, Michael, Caleb, Josh and Matthew Olivares of Temple; and Jonathan and Joshua Aguilar of Lake Jackson and her brother, Pedro Hernandez.

Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Monday, May 13, 2019, at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Temple.

Burial will take place on Wednesday, May 15, 2019, at 2 p.m. in San Benito, Texas.
