Gladys Puryear, age 90, of Marietta, Georgia passed away on Tuesday May 14, 2019. Gladys was born June 11, 1928 in Rome, Georgia.

Gladys is survived by; son Ricky Puryear; and son Jerry Puryear; sister Mozelle Sloman; 1 Grandchild and 3 Great Grandchildren.

Gladys was preceded in death by her husband Frank Puryear and parents H.P. and Rachel Hendricks.

Gladys was a longtime member of the Church of Christ and held the most prestigious title of Homemaker. She provided a loving home for her family as well as the friends who would visit.

A visitation for Gladys will be held Sunday, May 19, 2019 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home, 2950 Cobb Pkwy NW, Kennesaw, Georgia 30152. A chapel service will occur Sunday, May 19, 2019 at 2:00 pm. Burial will follow at Pineridge Memorial Park.
