Ruby loved working at the Nursery at Mobberly Baptist Church and she loved gardening. She was a great cook, even loved preparing the Thanksgiving feast until she was 95 years old. Ruby also took up quilting, embroidery, puzzle books until her eyes wouldn't let her.
Ruby is survived by; daughter Julia (Al) Daniel; son James (Wilma) Blachley; grandchildren Tonya (Scott) Deuel, Leslie (Audie) Holiday, Jamie (Kevin) Evans; great grandchildren Scott (Celena) Deuel Jr., Jacob (Aaron) Lamphier-Deuel, Joshua (Alyssa) Deuel, Clay and Audrey Holiday, Paislee, Jaxon and Adelyn Evans; great-great grandchild Joshua Deuel Jr., Lucas, Lorelai and Logan Deuel.
Ruby was preceded in death by her loving husband Melvin Blachley; Parents, Charlie and Viola; Brother, Marvin; Sisters, Estell and Mary.
A time of visitation for Ruby will be held Thursday, May 23rd, 2019 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Lakeview Funeral Home. A celebration of her life will occur Friday, May 24th, 2019 at 11:00 a.m.
