Jeffery Alan Shambora of New Smyrna Beach, Florida, was born on August 24th 1956, in Cleveland Ohio, to George and Virginia Shambora. Jeff grew up in Miami, Florida where he enjoyed surfing, playing football, and was a big fan of the “Miami Dolphins". Jeff has many lifelong friends from Miami. He joined the Navy in 1981 and was stationed on the USS McKee in Point Loma, California. Here he met his wife and “best friend”, Mary, onboard the ship. They were married on July 8th, 1983 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in St. Joseph, Minnesota.
Jeff and Mary enjoyed many adventures together over their 35 years of marriage. They were fortunate to travel to many foreign countries. Jeff had a love of food, golf, fishing and travel. He also highly valued his family and friends, had a big heart and treated his friends like family and showed it by sharing his passion for cooking. “Shaka”
Jeff is the owner and President of GVS Enterprise and is survived by his wife, Mary (Steil) Shambora, his parents George and Virginia ( Doneyson) Shambora, and two sisters, Laura Shambora Massimei of DeLand, Florida and Christine Shambora Esco of Ormond Beach, Florida. Jeff is survived by many nieces and nephews.
