Florian Barati, age 86 of Marietta passed away on June 30, 2019. He was born in Gyal, Hungary to Steven and Mary Barati. He graduated from University Budapest, Hungary with a degree in Physical Education. He was a physical education teacher at Linden Hill, in New York, for 42 years. In his spare time, he enjoyed sports, skiing, hiking and camping the great outdoors.
Florian is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Marta Golgand and grandson, Corey Studwell. He is survived by his wife Amalia; daughters, Susan (Jeffrey) Greene, Judith (Kevin) Studwell; grandchildren, Michael (Leigh) Greene, Jonathan (Susan) Greene, Tyler Studwell and great grandson, Patrick Greene.
A celebration of Life will be held 10 am, Saturday, July 6, 2019 at HM Patterson and Son Canton Hill Funeral Home Chapel.
