Lois was born July 22, 1942 in Holden, West Virginia to Martha (Burke) Fraley and Virgil Fraley. She attended various schools and graduated from Rio Grande University. Lois was a teacher in Ohio and employee of Office of Aging Social Services in New York. She was a member of NEA, Business and Professional Women and Zonta. Lois was an avid reader and health permitting, gardener. She loved to visit museums, especially those of presidents.
Other survivors are sister-in-law Bonnie Happel of Dayton Ohio, sister Barbara Knapp of Knoxville, TN, brother William Robert (Bill) Fraley of Columbus, Ohio, and numerous endearing cousins.
Lois is remembered by many nieces and nephews as a most generous and loving aunt, as emphasized in the attendance for her funeral.
Lois was a true believer in God and his power even as she endured several health issues. She was a member of the Baptist Church.
Her uniqueness was a kind-heart and loving sprit for all individuals.
A visitation for Lois will be held Monday, July 15, 2019 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Valhalla Funeral Home. A chapel service will occur Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at 10:00 AM, with entombment to follow in Valhalla Memory Gardens.
