Mr. Layton was born in Newton, Mass. June 23, 1946 to the late Frank B. Layton, Jr. and Enid Lyle Henry Layton. He worked at Browns-Ferry Nuclear Plant and retired after many years.
He is survived by a wife, Joann Layton; son, Frank B. Layton, IV; daughter, Trudy Walker; and Mary Kate Villamor, and a sister, Jerry Layton.
The family will host a Celebration of Life service Sunday, August 11, 2019 at 2:00pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
