Raul Cervantes Sr., age 71, of Edcouch, Texas passed away on Monday August 12, 2019. Raul was born July 13, 1948 in Valle Hermoso.

Raul is survived by his wife, Jovita Cervantes; daughter Cirila Flores; son Gonzalo Flores; daughter Raquel Sandra; son Alberto Huaracha; son Raul Cervantes Jr.; son Osvaldo Cervantes; and daughter Mariana Angela Flores; sister Rita Torres, sister Guadalupe Flores, brother Gregorio Cervantes, sister Maria Cervantes, sister Maria Rodriguez, brother Eddie Cervantes and sister Rosa Garcia. Raul has 22 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Raul was preceded in death by his grandson Osvaldo Cervantes Jr..

Visitation Services for Raul will be held Tuesday, August 13, 2019 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Highland Funeral Home (6705 N FM 88 Weslaco,TX 78596) , with A Prayer Service at 7:00 PM. A Dismissal to the Graveside Service will be held Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Highland Memorial Park, Weslaco, TX.
