I often think about Belinda’s sweet spirit and pray for her children, her parents, and all those who loved her. ❤️

I am so sorry to find out Belinda has left us. She was such a fun and beautiful person. I will miss her smile forever.


I’m just finding out that we lost Belinda.  Our family adored her SO.  Felix, Gary and I send our love and peaceful wishes to Ivan, the kids and all of her family members.   She will be MISSED!  

This is so incredibly  heartbreaking.  Belinda was a beautiful person, inside and out.  Such an easy-to-love person, and obviously an amazing musician.  My thoughts and prayers go out to her family, and she will always hold a place in my heart.  

I remember being surprised when she came to an event I was at (work I think) and she ended up being part of the musicians and played so beautifully.   She will be missed but well remembered.  

Belinda was a gifted musician and a beautiful person.   She introduced me to the violin and I will be ever grateful for what she had shown me. 

Belinda was truly one of the kindest and friendliest people I ever knew. Her excellent teaching abilities shaped my love of music in a way which changed  my life. She is loved and missed.

Belinda was such a lovely lady!  So kind and creative.  She guided Tristan as he learned the cello and violin, helping him find his own way to learn and appreciate playing music.  She introduced Connor to so many wonderful opportunities and experiences, playing the cello in cafes and Galaxy Fest, and in Ivywild.  We would never have experienced those without Belinda.  Thank you for sharing her with us.

I will always remember Belinda’s beautiful soul and her contagious smile!  She was a ray of light, a bucket full of sunshine that touched so many lives.  I was fortunate to be in Orchestra with her in high school...I was fortunate to have her path cross mine, if even for the briefest of moments.  My thoughts and prayers are with her family, her friends, and everyone who was lucky enough to be in her light!  May peace and comfort surround you.  I smile remembering all the wonderful times and laughs we shared.  I know heaven gained an amazing angel...a beautiful soul!  

I met Belinda in junior high while we were both in orchestra. She was one person that could Always make me laugh and come out of my straight laced shell.  I still remember our walks to the grocery store from her house. Later in life she worked at the same place as my mom. When my mom was in the hospital and none of her friends visited her, Belinda was the first one to reach out and offer to visit when I mentioned she was lonely.  Her heart was like no other. Fly high with angles Belinda, and play them a beautiful song. 

Belinda was my closest friend in junior high. Her spontaneity and passion were a good influence on my straight edge personality and helped me become more well rounded.  My favorite memory was the Friday night Belinda, Jamie Williams, and I (as 14-15 year olds) went to the mall and showed her sister (Lisa, I think) my learner's permit, but told her it was a driver's license. There's no way this is going to work, I thought.  But somehow it did! She let us use her car for cruising around Ft. Smith, and we had so much fun that I'll never forget that night.  
We started to go in different directions in high school, then completely lost touch once we both moved on to college. But for two or three years she was truly a transformational influence on me.  Today I choose to remember fondly her free spirit, generosity, passion, and friendliness.  Rest in peace, Belinda.

What a tremendous light your family has lost. I knew Belinda in high school orchestra, and she was a true gem. Gracious, kind, and spunky! She was a friend to all who knew her. Love and hugs to her family! I’m grateful for the love and memories you shared, and sad that she has gone from this world. I will think of her as Strolling Strings forever, and hope she gets a high five with Mr. Thellman! ❤️🎶

Lord, have mercy! May her memory be eternal! She was a beautiful soul. I was her junior high orchestra director and private violin teacher. I remember her well and regard her very highly. I am really saddened by her passing. 😥 May she have eternal rest in Paradise with God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and with the Angels and Saints, where there is no more sickness or death, but life eternal in God's unending Love. ...Belinda, until we meet again...

Belinda.... a beautiful person and an amazing music teacher. I feel so honored that we knew you and I feel so blessed that you taught Amber.... even for just a short while. You touched her life in a way that caused her love of music to grow so much. I am so very thankful you chose to spend some of the precious life you had here in earth with us. I cherish every memory of you. Thank you for sharing your gift with us. 

      I will always remember sitting in the foyer of the 15th street punk house listening to you and Jesse Floyd play string duets late into the night.  I will carry you in my memory forever. 

I still remember our get together in Germany, like it was last week, the food , laughter, stories and company of each other and our friends and kids! I miss our kids playing together when they were small! Or our morning workouts- (yeah I’m still not good in sticking with it lol)  - or our crazy (yes, it was your idea) snow photo shoot  :) I  miss you so much Belinda!!!!! And thank you from the bottom of my heart for showing Sophie the love for music, I know you would be so proud of her!!!!

Belinda was beautiful inside and out. I knew her since Junior High. We played together in Orchestra. I felt blessed to have her as a friend. I always looked up to her. Heaven’s music is now even more beautiful. I will miss her dearly. I pray for comfort for her family. 

Belinda was an amazing ,beautiful, gifted woman. I feel blessed to have called her my friend. My soul sister.  I can hear her voice in my head still.  She was always coming up with ideas. "Dude, you know what you should do" and " it would be cool if"                                         She convinced me to join Facebook.   I will always remember her. I will always love her.                                                                           I know that I will someday meet her again in Heaven and that is a small comfort.                                                                  My heart goes out to all of the family. Belinda I had no idea of the battle you were fighting when we met during the Ugly Christmas Sweater party. You were so collected and full of joy. You made me feel at home from the moment we spoke. I can only hope I’m able to have the courage and poise you displayed. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your loved ones in this difficult time! 😇

By the way...  😂 I’m sure you voted my sweater to be the ugliest by your facial expression. 👀😂

I will always think of Belinda with a smile for everyone, a kind and gentle soul who graced me with her warmth and compassion, her quick sense of humor and her love for her children and family .  Rest In Bliss, Belinda.
