Celebration of Life services for George Hardy Tarbox, Sr., 86, will be held 11:00 AM, Thursday, August 22, 2019 on the grounds of Pine Crest Cemetery, Mobile, Alabama with Rev. Clyde Pressley officiating.
George Hardy Tarbox, Sr. was born in Napoli, New York, January, 2, 1933, to the late Harry Herbert and Doris Delphine Finch Tarbox and was called home August 18, 2019 in Mobile, Alabama. Mr. Tarbox served this grateful nation by enlisting in the United States Air Force. He graduated from Randolph Central School, Randolph, New York. Mr. Tarbox retired after giving thirty-five years of dedicated employment with IBM. He was a member of Dauphin Way United Methodist Church, 1507 Dauphin Street, Mobile, Alabama 36604.
Mr. Tarbox was preceded in death by his parents; and his sister; Marlene Budowski Gilbert.
Left to cherish the wonderful memories of George will be his beloved wife of sixty-two years; Mrs. Margaret Beatty Tarbox, two children: George H. Tarbox, Jr. and wife Debbie, Michael E. Beatty and wife Linda, six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, along with many extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.
