Diego Juan Alaniz passed away on September 8, 2019 at the age of 71. He was born on November 19, 1947 to the late Jose and Alejandra Alaniz. He was a Vietnam Veteran.

Diego is reunited with his parents; two brothers; three sisters; two nephews and one niece.

He leaves his loving memories to his sisters, Dora Garza of Corpus Christi, Tomasita Gonzalez of Rio Grande, and Rosario Alaniz Garcia of Poteet. He also leaves numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

Visitation will be held at Memory Gardens Funeral Home on Thursday, September 12, 2019 at 12:30 p.m. A Holy Rosary will be recited at 1:30 p.m. with a Chapel Service to begin at 2:00 p.m. and with full Military Honors Graveside Service to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
