Delia H. Ontiveros passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 21, 2019 at the age of 74. She is preceded in death by her Mother Maria C. Hernandez; Father Daniel T. Hernandez; Sister Socorro Hernandez; and Great Granddaughter Marandah Alvarez. Delia was born April 25, 1945 in Hidalgo County, Texas and was a longtime resident of Houston, Texas. Delia is survived by her 3 children. Daughter Mary Anne Wass of Houston, Texas; Son Ramon Ontiveros, Jr. and wife Veronica of Corpus Christi, Texas; and Daughter Jessica Carlos and husband Luis of Houston, Texas. Delia is also survived by sister Dora DeAnda. Delia leaves 7 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Granddaughter Anna Marie Livingston, husband Joseph and children: Rolando Jr, Bryce, Aliana, Autumn, Nolan, Kimberly, Derek Neil and Kristiana Fern; Granddaughter Kristina Wass; Grandson Marcus Anthony Alvarez, wife Marissa and children: Mariah, Marabellah, and Marlanah; Granddaughter Maddison Alvarez, fiance Beto Lazcano and children: Jeziah, Javien and Elva; Grandson Nathan Ray Ontiveros and fiance Ashley Pena; Granddaughter Allison Ontiveros; and Grandson Cyrus Carlos. Delia was a hardworking, loving and very Christian woman. She worked for Life Tech where she retired after over 25 years of service. She was also a longtime member of USA Boxing as a Judge and Registration Chairman. Delia loved dancing, shopping with her best friend and collecting various items. She was also a big supporter and gave often to the various charities committed to first responders.
Visitation for Delia will be held Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at 4:00 PM with a Religious Service at 7:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Crespo located at 2516 Navigation Blvd, Houston, Texas 77003.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 26, 2019 at 9:30 AM at Funeraria Del Angel Crespo located at 2516 Navigation Blvd, Houston, Texas 77003.
Burial will occur Thursday, September 26, 2019 at 11:30 AM at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home & Cemetery located at 12800 Westheimer Rd, Houston, TX 77077.
Pallbearers include Larry O'Shields, Luis Carlos, Marcus Anthony Alvarez, Nathan Ray Ontiveros, Neil Wass II, and Rolando Mata Jr.
