Ricky Neal Price was born in Georgetown Texas on August 21, 1953 to Douglas "Neal" and Julia "Jupe" Price. Ricky went peacefully to be with the Lord on September 28, 2019 after battling cancer at the age of 66 years.
Ricky married Linda "Marie" Reed and had two sons, Kenneth Neal and Jim Wesley. Ricky and Marie divorced and remained friends throughout all of his life. Ricky’s two sons and his family meant everything to him, he cherished them all, and he especially loved and cherished his sons, his 10 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren and was happy to hear recently he was having another great-granddaughter on the way. He was an awesome PAPA. Ricky loved life and was a very compassionate loving person. In his younger years, he loved to race cars and go out dancing. He loved spending time with his family and friends, going fishing and spending time up at the lake. Ricky worked as a heavy machine operator and a truck driver most of all his life. When he retired, he was working for Howard Pierce & Sons Stone Company, which he truly loved working for and considered them as family.
Ricky is survived by his son & daughter in law Jim "Wesley" & Stephanie Price, daughter in law Karen Price Cessna & husband Paul, sister & brother in law Gina & Doug Johnson, 10 grandchildren- Chasity Price and Fiancé’ Preston Schmidt, Chelsea Price & partner Billy Flippo, Kiara, Kylie, Kenny, Keanu Price, Chantel Price Rubio & husband Anthony, Hailey, Cole, Cash Bender and 5 great-grandchildren- Brayden, Myles, Kennedy, Kasyn, Dayton. His niece Tanya Preskey, nephew Heath Johnson. Marie Ransleben, the mother of his 2 sons and lifelong best friend and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Ricky was proceeded in death by his 1st born son, Kenneth Neal Price at the age of 27 years and his parents.
Visitation will be held Thursday October 3, 2019 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held Friday October 4, 2019 at 10:00 am at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home with interment to follow at Post Mountain. Pallbearers are Jim "Wesley" Price, Tyrel Ransleben, Larry Courtney, Heath Johnson, Charles Baker, and Robert Joseph. Honorary Pallbearers are Ricky's grandchildren.
