Vickie Sue Crabtree

She was born December 26, 1949 in Ottawa, Kansas to Glenn and Margaret Slankard.

Vickie was a 1967 graduate of Turner High School later attending Penn Valley Community College obtaining her LPN, then earning her Bachelors in Nursing and worked for North Kansas City Hospital. On November 6, 1970, she married Jerry and together they raised 3 kids.

An avid softball fan, she loved to play and watch her grandkids. Her passions were cooking, playing scrabble, reading, sewing, and the Kansas City Royals. Vickie and her family would make many trips to Colorado. She was very proud of her family and having family around made her smile.

Vickie was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her husband, Jerry; her daughter, Stacy (Richard) McGinnis; her sons, Eric and Rusty Crabtree; her sister, Sharon (Len) Lawson; her brother, Steve (Nancy) Slankard; 6 grandchildren; and 1 great granddaughter.
