Mr. Bobby Williams

Bobby was born on June 5, 1930 in Kemp, Texas to parents Plez and Ira Ethel (Calloway) Williams and entered into eternal rest on October 1, 2019 at the age of 89. Bobby graduated from Kemp High School and married the love of his life, Jeanie Platt, on June 5, 1953 in Kemp, Texas. He served his country by joining the United States Army. Bobby worked as a carpenter and was self-employed. He was a hard worker, resourceful and innovative. Bobby was a smart man, always being creative with his ideas. He was neighborly and liked helping others. Bobby was a family man, he loved his wife and children immensely and was always a good provider. He would help his children with anything they needed. Bobby was brave, patient and peaceful, but sometimes a jokester. He enjoyed playing music and was in a band during his time in the service. Bobby also enjoyed woodworking and working on his farm and bailing hay. Bobby was an amazing husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He will be truly missed by those who knew and loved him.

Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, son-in-law Stan Huffhines and six brothers and sisters.

He is survived by his loving wife Jeanie Williams of Kemp, daughter Jill McKinley and husband Sidney of Kemp, son Joe Williams and wife Susan of Athens, daughter Lori Huffhines of Eustace and daughter Amy Weatheread and husband Ryan of Mabank, grandchildren; Kerri and Jessie Compton of Eustace, Sally and Scott Chambless of Canton, John and Lori McKinley of Gun Barrel City, Brad and Brittney Williams of Kaufman, Zach Williams of Terrell, Josh and Sarah Williams of Eustace, David and Casey Lott of Forney, Michael and Jill Lott of Heartland, Emily and Austin Ruppanner of Lorena, Maddox Huffhines of Eustace, Abby Huffhines of Eustace, Madison and James Johnson of Austin and Levi Weatheread of Mabank, great-grandchildren; Jordan, Kyle, Jake, Anna, Alyssa, Megan, Sarah, Emma, Trey, Addison, Mia L., Mia W., Daylon, Bryce, Matthew, Annie Mae, Heidi, Ryder, and one on the way, other loving family members and many more lifelong friends.
