Donald Joseph Faulk

He was a native of Kaplan and had been a resident of Sulphur since 1960 and is a veteran of the U.S. Army. He graduated in 1956 with a Bachelor of Science Degree from SLI, now the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and then received his professional Engineering License. He retired in 1997 after 37 years of service as an Engineer with PPG. Donald played basketball and baseball in high school and also played in the Army. He was an avid sportsman who enjoyed watching LSU and the Saints. He enjoyed traveling and staying in touch with his classmates from high school.

Survivors include his son, Scott Faulk and wife, Nicole of Carlyss. He is preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Courvelle Faulk; his parents, Eldes and Ezelima Faulk; and his brother, John Steven Faulk.

His funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday, October 4, in Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. The Rev. Paul Jussen, M.S. will officiate. Burial will be in Mimosa Pines Cemetery South in Carlyss. Visitation is from 4-8 p.m. Thursday and from noon until the time of service Friday in the funeral home.
