Parked at Everglades airport when you took Norman and I for a ride. We walked through a field and stirred up all the mosquitoes in that area, they had a feast on us. I think it was around 100º that day, and muggy as all get out. 
I see you checking out the plan before takeoff so we could get home safely. To have all these moments back once again.

Dear Janet,

Leslie and I knew Bruce for many years when he managed our property.  He was delightful and a brilliant, dedicated person to his clients. He also was a very professional person to us and all his clients.  We know he was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather and many of us were the beneficiary of his kindness and goodness.   We miss him and our prayers are with you.

Rainey and I met Bruce through his business real estate expertise.  We were so impressed that we stayed loyal clients of his for many years.  He was always creative, thorough, and FAIR to all parties in a transaction.  Never a worry about completion;  a handshake was as good as a contract.  We, and Naples business real estate, will miss him.

My heart goes out to Janet and the family and he will be remembered by all of the people he has met and friends he has made.  

Bruce and I both arrived at Phan Rang Air Base at the same time.   We were bunk mates and shared a cubical for a year.   We flew on separate missions in support of three squadrons of C123Ks.  We were both very young, saw a lot and grew up very quickly.  After about seven months in the country, we went on a 7-day R&R in Japan.  Below is one of our photos taken in Japan.

After we returned to the states, I tried to locate Bruce but was unsuccessful.  Years later I returned from a business trip and found a voice mail from Bruce trying to locate me.  I called him and we talked.  My wife and I then visited Bruce and Janet and had a great time reminiscing about the year we spent together in Vietnam and caught up on our lives since.  I could see in our visit with Janet and Bruce that he excelled in his life and was really a great person.  Bruce fought his illness for a long time and is finally at peace.

To The Miner Family:  My deepest sympathy to you for the loss of Bruce.  Fifty-two years ago,  Bruce and I were entering our final phase of USAF basic training.  We would unknowingly serve together again at Phan Rang, Vietnam.  The flight line there divided our units and remarkably our paths never crossed.  We were finally able to catch up with each other years later via computer.  Bruce always had that grin, always helpful, always hopeful.  I know he loved his family, his country and he loved life.  He was what we all should aspire to be...."a good man".  In the blueness of the skies we'll always remember him.  May God Bless you all.  Sincerely, Joe

Condolences to the family.  I graduated with Bruce from FHS  in 1967.    He was well loved.  Rest In Peace Bruce.  We will never forget you. ❤️

Bruce and I first met through aviation. He was indeed an excellent pilot with a love of flying to the islands. As our relationship advanced, in June of 1998 Bruce and I came to work together at CRES. He was a superior Realtor and property manager. Bruce cared for his clients and went out of his way to assure their complete satisfaction. Bruce and Janet worked together in all aspects of their profession as well as in a life-long relationship. Janet made Bruce laugh. Indeed they were couple made for one another. Now Bruce has moved on to another playing field where he gets to employ his various skills. He will be missed but, Janet and family, please find comfort in knowing that he is doing so without any pain. Janet, you have many friends and I pray that you call on us when needed. We shall all meet up again someday. May God bless Bruce.
