I remember when we put up the garage door opener. And how you would always take us to the fair. And how you would get mad when the Gators or the Jags weren't doing good. You would scream at the tv as if they could hear you in person. You were the best dad anyone could ever have! I miss and love you :)

Jon was truly a genuine man with a heart of gold.  He will be sorely missed. My most sincere condolences to his family and children. 

I knew Jon for a long time. We spent many nights with friends laughing, singing and listening to music. He always made sure that everyone around him was happy and smiling. I'll miss the good times and remember him always. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and loved ones. 

I only met him once 20 or so years ago, but he was a straight forward kinda person. Rest Easy Rock Star!!

Jon, You were such a kind and caring guy. I met you through a mutual friend, at a venue in Orange Park. You played, your heart out... Play your music in heaven, and know there many other fan's who admired you... and we will all miss you... 

My uncle was only 6 years old when I was born and I was likely about as much fun to him as a pebble in his shoe.  And he made sure to keep me humble for quite a few years.  When we got older we still joked and teased but it became more about our similarities due to our "twisted family tree" (his exact hilariously true words) that made us stronger and able to joke about the least appropriate things and it always got us through.  No matter the jokes or the teasing at the end of the day if he was around he looked out for me.  I knew if I needed him he'd answer.  He didn't ask for an explanation and it really didn't matter how or why I ended up reaching out to him.  Many times over the years as adults he saw me struggle and he would tell me to come out with him for a bit.  Or even if he wasn't there he would tell me, "find so and so and tell them you're my niece..they're expecting you".  And without fail I would hear, "oh hey, yeah, we were expecting you".  He made an amazing family for himself and he was blessed with some of the nicest people you could ever hope to meet and I am better for having met so many of them.   He was really a what you see is what you get guy.  And when he asked for my support,  (which wasn't very often and I think a lot of us can say that) he knew he would have it without any questions.  I love my uncle and I am so thankful to have had him for the years I did and I will never hear Queesryche and not think of a concert my uncle was surprised to see his "sweet little niece" at.  As I think back, so many funny nights.

Miss you, "uncle ron".  I sure do wish you were still here.

Lacee and Carson, you are in my thoughts.  I am so sorry you lost your Daddy.  I know he's with you in your heart always, though.  Will be praying for peace and comfort for you both.

Jon was a loving son, father, & sincere friend to all who knew him. We both helped each other through tough and good times. His smile was infectious and his will to help others endless. We were in competing bands, then joined together as one. His stage presence was unmatched and added the touch we were looking for. 25 years of friendship that has left nothing but positive thoughts and love. If not for Jon, I wouldn’t have met his UPS family which are all class acts. To Lacee & Carson, you have his extended family to lean on. Prayers to all of his family and friends. You will live on in our hearts and souls.

Soo many wonderful memories in 30 yrs of knowing Jon and seeing him play out in various bands. Always smiling , caring and made others happy. A devoted son and father as well as friend to all.

What a great guy who was was always a pleasure to talk with and be around.. He knew how to crack me especially when I often asked about a particular person that I had a crush on haha. From time to time he would blow my phone up with a/c questions and sending me videos of him using his meter trying to troubleshoot control issues. He bought that meter I think just so he could learn to service his own system; which was actually pretty smart because he was mechanically inclined enough to do so. It got hilarious at times and Id just end up at his place fixing it.  He rewarded me with a cool guitar effects processor one day that i will now keep forever.  Aside from being a solid well versed musician, just a real genuine friend who ill never forget.  
Sept 16 was the last time I conversed with him. Said he was ok, getting stronger, didn’t need anything and to just keep him in my prayers.

My sincerest thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this difficult time.  Jon was an amazing friend with a great sense of humor and a compassionate heart. He was always there for me when I needed a friend and was always there to help and comfort me when I was down. I will always cherish the memories of us hanging out, laughing and long talks about our past and present times. Jon always had a great story to tell and a laugh to share.  He will be missed dearly.  His memory will always live on in the hearts & minds of all who were blessed to know him.  Love you brother!

Jon will be lovingly remembered by his children, Lacee and Carson Stewart, by his mother, Ethel '‘Carolyn” Holton, and by his brother and sisters Cindi Feightner, Jackie Fox (Mike), Steve Fowler (Moneica), Hazel Johnson (Bennie) and Carole Little (Mike). Jon will also be forever remembered by his numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, many dear friends and bandmates He was preceded in death by his father Riley "Jack” Fowler.
