Sgt. James Frederick Blevins

Loving father of Karen Blevins Wyckoff and husband, Skip, step-son, Charlie Brannon and wife, Mary, step-son, Bill Cooper and wife, Allison and step-daughter, Cyndi McDaniel. He is also survived by grandchildren: Cory Wyckoff, Matthew Wyckoff, J.T., and Michael, Deanna, Annalesha, Tanya, Ashley, Leaha, Justin, Mitchell, CJ, Will, Andrew, Lindsey, Ashleigh great grandchildren: Hadley, Landan, and Margo, sister, Rosa Lee Rhodes, brothers, Marcus Blevins and wife, Emma Jean, Ralph Blevins and wife, Mary, nieces, nephews, loving family and friends.

Sgt. Blevins honorably served in the U.S. Army from 1958-1979. He received many commendations, including a Bronze Star.

Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation on Thursday, October 10, 2019 from 5-7 p.m. and Friday, October 11, 2019 from 12-1 p.m. at Horis A. Ward Funeral Home Fairview Chapel, 376 Fairview Road, Stockbridge, GA 30281, where a funeral service will be held on Friday beginning at 1 p.m.

Burial will immediately follow in Fairview Memorial Park, Stockbridge, GA with full military honors.
