Bertha married her late husband Sylvester May 23, 1942. They enjoyed 62 years of marriage together. Bertha and Sylvester were a very dedicated Navy couple.

Bertha is survived by her daughter, Mary Tharp; grandchildren, Christine Earixson, Rena Pribyl, Jay

Bookhout, Jennifer Bookout Light; 12 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.

Bertha adored all her grand children and was adored by them. She has probably made a side trip to Deadwood or Central City before really leaving this earth.

In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her daughter, Sylvia Bookhout.
